The 14 summits of the Sierra del Aconquija

The Sierra del Aconquija runs through Argentina, and this is all of it: 14 catalogued summits, from Cerro del Bolsón at 5 552 m down to Cerro Yutuyaco at 4 173 m — 1 379 m between the first and the last, spread over roughly 59 km around 27.2° S, 66.1° W.

A range this size is climbed in two tiers. The main ridge is the first 7 — the summits within a sixth of the highest, and the goal wayly puts in front of you first. The whole range counts only once every one of the 14 is walked over.

The list is not hand-typed. wayly resolves it from the range itself against its summit catalogue — foothills under 60% of the highest left out, one summit mapped twice kept once — so it follows the mountains rather than someone's memory. And it fills itself in: a summit counts when a walk you recorded takes you over the top of it, not when you remember to tick a box.
