The 14 summits of the Parahyangan Highlands

The Parahyangan Highlands runs through Indonesia, and this is all of it: 14 catalogued summits, from Gunung Cereme at 3 078 m down to Gunung Jaya at 2 422 m — 656 m between the first and the last, spread over roughly 173 km around 7.1° S, 107.5° E.

A range this size is climbed in two tiers. The main ridge is the first 9 — the summits within a sixth of the highest, and the goal wayly puts in front of you first. The whole range counts only once every one of the 14 is walked over.

The list is not hand-typed. wayly resolves it from the range itself against its summit catalogue — foothills under 60% of the highest left out, one summit mapped twice kept once — so it follows the mountains rather than someone's memory. And it fills itself in: a summit counts when a walk you recorded takes you over the top of it, not when you remember to tick a box.
